🌿8 books that shaped the way I think about money

One of the best investments I've made wasn't in the stock market. It was in my education.

Books, courses, mentors, and a willingness to keep learning have all shaped who I am today...but especially books. They have always been some of my greatest teachers.

So this week I'm sharing with you eight books that have influenced the way I think about money, life, and helping women build financial confidence.

Every one of these has given me a different perspective.

Some reminded me that money is more about behavior than numbers. While others reinforced the importance of creating a plan before life forces you to.

But they all point to the same truth: understanding your finances isn't about becoming an expert. It's about having choices when life takes an unexpected turn.

I do hope one—or maybe several—finds its way onto your reading list.

Here's what's in my current stack:

📘 Get Good with Money by Tiffany Aliche. Small, consistent habits create lasting financial confidence.

📘 Rich AF by Vivian Tu. Straightforward advice that makes money feel approachable.

📘 How to Money by Jean Chatzky, Kathryn Tuggle & The HerMoney Team. A practical guide that proves financial education doesn't have to be intimidating.

📘 The Soul of Wealth by Daniel Crosby. True wealth is about meaning, not just money.

📘 The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel. Money is often more about behavior than math.

📘 We Should All Be Millionaires by Rachel Rodgers. Wealth isn't just for a select few. Women can build it too.

📘 Estate Planning Success Just for Women by Lynne Marie Kohm (and others). Every woman deserves an estate plan that reflects her wishes and not someone else's.

📘 Strangers by Belle Burden. A powerful reminder that life can change unexpectedly. Knowing your finances isn't optional, it's empowering.

. . .

If you read only one book from this list, make it Strangers by Belle Burden.

It's a excellent reminder that none of us knows what tomorrow holds—and that's exactly why every woman should know where she stands financially.

Happy Wednesday...and happy reading! 🌿
