🌿What I'd tell my 20-year-old self

If I could sit down with my 20-year-old self over a cup of coffee, I'd tell her one simple thing: Use your resources.
Â
Find people who have already walked the path you're on. Ask questions. Be curious. Listen more than you talk.
Â
When I was younger, I thought I had to figure everything out on my own. Looking back, I realize there were incredible teachers and examples all around me.
Â
They had made mistakes, recovered from setbacks, found success, and discovered what really mattered. I just didn't realize how much I could learn from them.
Â
Had I been more willing to ask questions and lean into their experience, I would have saved myself a heck of a lot of time, frustration, and money!
Â
What this has taught me is that asking for help isn't a sign of weakness. It's a sign of wisdom.
Whether it's your finances, your career, a relationship, or a major life transition, someone has likely been where you are today. Sometimes you don't need more information, you just need someone to walk alongside you and help you reach the finish line.
Â
Here's something to think about this week:
Â
Where in your life are you trying to do it all alone? And who could help you take the next step?
Â
Sometimes asking for help isn't admitting you can't do it. It's choosing not to waste time trying to figure out alone what someone else has already learned.
Â
So let me know...If you could have one conversation with your 20-year-old self, what advice would you give her? Hit reply, I'd love to hear!
Happy Wednesday 🌿
