🌿Women, purpose, and $20,000 fueling hope

Updated: Nov 11, 2025

September 10, 2025

On Monday I had the honor of sponsoring and attending Suzy Pratowski's incredible “Mega Lunch” (Thank you, Suzy!) which benefits Bringing Hope Home, a nonprofit in the Philadelphia suburbs that provides financial and emotional support to local families battling cancer.

Through their Light of Hope Family Program, they offer one-time financial assistance to cover essential household bills, giving families the chance to focus on what matters most: healing.

Suzy’s contagious energy and passion brought together 100+ women in a room alive with love, purpose, and endless generosity. Together, we raised over $20,000 — a powerful reminder of what happens when women unite around a cause close to all our hearts.

Because the truth is: cancer has touched every one of us in some way. Whether it’s a parent, sibling, friend, colleague—or even our own diagnosis—we all carry stories of pain, hope, and resilience.

What stayed with me most about Monday was hearing from a brave lung cancer survivor who shared her story. Because of Bringing Hope Home, she didn’t have to choose between paying bills and prioritizing her health. Their support gave her space to heal.

We’re asked to give constantly these days—emails, texts, GoFundMes—and sometimes it’s easy to become skeptical, wondering... "Will my donation even make a difference?"

But Monday reminded me why we give. I saw it. I heard it. I felt it.

That woman’s story was living proof that Bringing Hope Home is doing real, meaningful work—and providing real hope when it’s needed most.

Here’s to lifting each other up and continuing to spread real hope. 🧡

Happy Wednesday! 🌿
