🌿 Catch me on Sandy Joy Weston’s Podcast

Recently, I had the wonderful opportunity to join Sandy Joy Weston, M.Ed. on her podcast, “Hey, I've Got Something to Say!".

We had an honest and heartfelt conversation about money, life transitions, and starting over.

We talked about something many women quietly carry: fear and uncertainty around money.

The truth is, life happens.

Divorce happens. Businesses fail. Relationships change. Financial mistakes get made.

And sometimes we find ourselves rebuilding at age 35, 50, or beyond wondering, “How the heck did I get here?”

During the episode, I shared my own story of hitting rock bottom financially after my difficult divorce, moving myself and my daughter back in with my parents, and rebuilding my life one day at a time.

It was one of the hardest seasons of my life, but it also taught me something I now share with women:

You do not have to stay stuck in your mistakes.

We talked about the importance of controlling what you can control and taking small steps forward.

Maybe that means finally reviewing your financial accounts, creating a simple budget, opening a savings account, asking questions, or making a plan for what comes next.

We talked about asking for help without embarrassment or guilt.

Too often, women feel like they have to figure everything out alone, when in reality, reaching out for guidance is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Financial wellness is about so much more than money. It affects our confidence, peace of mind, and the choices we’re able to make for our future.

If you’re feeling behind, overwhelmed, or unsure where to begin, I think this conversation will resonate with you.
