🌿Your current situation does not define you

After my divorce, I repeated this sentence to myself just about every day:
Â
“Your current situation does not define you.”
Â
Financially and emotionally, I had hit rock bottom. My daughter and I had moved into my parents’ house—right back into my childhood bedroom—to start over.
Â
I was incredibly grateful for their love and support during that time. But deep down, I knew something so important.
Â
This was not the life I wanted.
Â
I did not want that chapter to become my new normal. I wanted to rebuild a life I felt proud of—for myself and for her.
Â
And to do that, I had to keep reminding myself that one important thing:
Â
“Your current situation does not define you.”
Â
I had to start by changing my mindset around money. I had to start paying attention and I had to prioritize my finances.
Eventually I came to understand that money doesn’t just impact your bank account. It impacts your confidence, your choices, and your willingness to say yes to something new.
Â
I share this with you because you might be navigating a season like that right now. Maybe you feel stuck, scared, or unsure what comes next.
Â
And if so, please remember:
Â
“Your current situation does not define you.”
Â
Instead, let it fuel you. Make a plan. Stick to it. Take things one day at a time.
Â
Maybe your challenge right now is financial, like mine was. Or maybe it’s your health, your home life, or a relationship with someone you love.
Â
Whatever it is, start by understanding where you are today. Because once you gain clarity, something powerful happens.
Â
You gain confidence. And confidence allows you to take control of your future.
Â
And that, my friend, is when rebuilding truly begins. I promise. 💛
Happy Wednesday! 🌿
