🌿 You’re not behind, you just need a starting point

So many women I know (this may be you, too) hold themselves back financially because they feel embarrassed about what they don’t know…or the mistakes they’ve made in the past.
Heck, that was ME!
Years ago, I was terrible with my finances. I ignored them, assumed someone else would handle things, and told myself I was too young to really worry about it.
Then my divorce happened, and that was my rock bottom—both emotionally and financially. But it was also my wake up.
I realized that if I wanted a different future, I had to take responsibility for creating it.
So I started prioritizing my finances, educating myself, and reaching out to people I trusted to help guide me as I rebuilt my life.
And slowly, step by step, things began to change.
If you’ve ever felt like you should know more about money but aren’t quite sure where to begin, this is the perfect month to try something simple:
Pick just one topic and learn a little more about it.
It could be learning about high-yield savings accounts (my faves!), reviewing your retirement account, getting clearer on budgeting or investing, or understanding which estate documents you may or may not need.
The goal is to simply put yourself a little further ahead than you were yesterday.
If money has felt confusing, overwhelming, or something you’ve avoided, let today be your reminder: you’re not behind. You may just need a starting point.
Dive into the resources I've shared below and start rethinking how you view money. Consider today your Day 1. 👍
Happy Wednesday & Happy Financial Literacy Month! 🌿
